Modern automatic transmissions make increasingly stringent demands on lubricants as they are becoming more complex, compact and light. The time when it was possible to use
standard lubricants has passed. More and more the manufacturers in the automobile sector are calling for special lubricants with own-brand specifications. In response to this trend, Kroon-Oil has developed its premium-quality special (SP) product line, in conjunction with these manufacturers.
ATF SP 2072 is a full synthetic long life double clutch transmission fluid that has been specially developed for the latest generation of VAG's DSG transmissions. These DSG transmissions, with origins in motor sports, are characterized as very sporty and fast shifting transmissions. To assure a perfect performance of these type of transmissions a special formulated transmission fluid with superior characteristics is needed. The unique formulation of ATF SP 2072 translate into following properties and benefits:
- Excellent oxidation stabiltity, which makes "filled for life" possible;
- Outstanding lubrication properties; even under the most severe conditions;
- Outstanding resistance to wear, corrosion and high resistance to the formation of foam;
- Very low solidifying point resulting in very good low temperature properties;
- A very good shear stability.
Application
ATF SP 2072 has been specially developed for the next generation of VAG's high tech DSG double clutch transmissions. These DSG transmissions are used by VAG in various models of VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda.
