Description
Dieselfleet CD+ 15W-40 is a "new generation" diesel engine oil, formulated with solvent refined base oils and a well-balanced choice of additives.
Dieselfleet CD+ 15W-40 has the following properties:
- Very powerful detergency, thus minimizing deposits in the hot zone of the engine
- Very strong dispersion, thus keeping deposits and cold sludge to a minimum
- Powerful activity against corrosion and foaming
- High and stable viscosity index
- Low sulphated ash number
- Powerful activity against wear resulting in strongly reduced wear of piston rings and cylinder liners
Application
Dieselfleet CD+ 15W-40 is applicable in all types of diesel engines (normally or turbo aspirated) even under the toughest operation conditions and all the year round.
Dieselfleet CD+ 15W-40 has high Total Base Number and may therefore be used, when fuels with a relatively highsulphur content are involved.
This special quality of engine oil has mainly been developed to allow extended oil drain-intervals (up to 45,000 km) and to prevent "bore polishing" (=cylinder wear).
