Description
Modern engine oils are unsuitable for classic vehicles because the requirements set for modern engine oils are completely different from those in the past. Increasingly stringent demands in areas including fuel savings, limiting exhaust emissions and longer oil change intervals have had a strong impact on the composition and viscosity of modern engine oil formulas. High concentrations of detergents and dispersants, limited ZDDP contents and the use of what are often thin synthetic base oils in modern engine oils can be disastrous for classic combustion engines. Kroon-Oil has developed the complete range of Classic Oils to safely lubricate the cherished and often valuable classic vehicles despite these restrictions. These products are designed specifically for use in classic vehicles.
Classic Multigrade 20W50 is a mineral SAE 20W50 multigrade engine oil for classic petrol and diesel engines. The use of a specific set of additives and specially selected base oils gives the product the following properties:
- Excellent lubricating properties
- Good protection against wear
- A stable and high viscosity index for suitability in all seasons
- Good protection against corrosion
- No danger of encrusted dirt becoming unstuck
- Very good anti-foaming properties
- Fully compatible with classic seals and rubbers.
Application
Classic Multigrade 20W50 is a top quality multigrade engine oil for classic petrol engines. Classic Multigrade 20W50 is also suitable for classic diesel engines for cars and light vans. Classic Multigrade 20W50 is ideal for use with classic vehicles from the nineteen sixties, seventies and early eighties for which an SAE 20W50 engine oil is prescribed.
