02-03-2018

In 2018 Jourdan Serderidis gets the unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of Ford Fiesta WRC EcoBoost, prepared by M-Sport. The rally driver, sponsored by Kroon-Oil, and his navigator Frédéric Miclotte will among others participate in two rounds of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Since his successful debut during the 2013 edition of the Wales Rally GB, Jourdan Serderidis is a familiar face on the world stage of rally sport. Since 2017 the successful rally driver has been sponsored by Kroon-Oil. Last year he and Frédéric Miclotte won the 2017 WRC Champions Trophy.

After the great success of the new generation rally cars, the duo is now eager to experience the power and performance of the Fiesta WRC. During the Rallye Deutschland in August and Rally Australia in November they will get that chance. Jourdan will drive the exact same car as five-time world champion Sébastien Ogier and has the same tools and information at his disposal. Both cars will be prepared and operationally deployed by M-Sport, the successful team of former WRC driver Malcolm Wilson.

Jourdan Serderidis: "I am pleased to be back with M-Sport – the reigning world champion – and even more pleased with the Ford Fiesta WRC, the best car to drive in the rally nowadays. I hope to have a lot of fun behind the wheel of this car and I thank Malcolm Wilson for granting me this unique opportunity. Furthermore I would like to thank my partners ALD Automotive, Fleetback and Kroon-Oil who will support me in 2018.”

Leon ten Hove, marketing manager Kroon-Oil: “The cooperation with J-Motorsport, Jourdan’s team, is good for our brand. The ambitions of the team are in line with the growth ambitions of Kroon-Oil. It also underlines the high quality ambitions that we have for our organisation and our products. It is fantastic that this season, in cooperation with M-Sport, there will be a serious attempt for top results with the spectacular Ford Fiesta WRC. We sincerely look forward to it!”
