Borgward Rally Team presents the Dakar Rally 2020 livery of the Borgward BX7 DRK EVO

The Borgward Rally Team, sponsored by Kroon-Oil were in Kuwait today to unveil the final livery of the Borgward BX7 DKR EVO that Nani Roma will drive during the 2020 Dakar Rally. The Borgward BX7 DKR EVO is an updated and improved Borgward BX7 DKR used by Borgward Rally Team previously. 

Nani Roma, two-time winner of the Dakar Rally, had the opportunity to drive the Borgward BX7 DKR EVO twice in competition in 2019. The first time during the Rallye du Maroc and the second time during the Baja Portalegre 500. Furthermore, the star driver has gained a lot of mileage under tough conditions during testing with the Borgward BX7 DKR EVO and was continuously able to improve the set up of the car. 

“We saw yesterday at the press conference in Paris that the 2020 Dakar will have an amazing route and scenery. We are very happy that the rally is on this side of the world. Hopefully, the interest in the region for the Dakar will grow and, who knows, we might have the Dakar here in Kuwait.” said Nani Roma during the presentation in Kuwait.
