SP Gear 1071 is premium, fully synthetic, transmission oil specially developed for manual transmissions and differentials. By using premium, fully synthetic base oils and special additives, the following properties are achieved:
- Ensures easy and smooth gear-changing at very low and very high operating temperatures, thanks to the high viscosity index
- Outstanding oxidation stability, which enables the oil to be used for longer
- Synchromeshes are able to operate as smoothly as possible: 'problem-free' gear-changing due to EP additives
- Special friction modifiers reduce internal friction, thereby obtaining fuel-saving properties
- Outstanding resistance to corrosion
- High resistance to foaming
Application
SP Gear 1071 is a fuel-saving, fully synthetic SAE 75W-85 transmission oil with Limited Slip properties. Specially developed for use in Mercedes-Benz (locking) differentials for which the MB 235.7 specification is required and for Audi CVT (Multitronic) transmissions for which VW's TL 521 90 specification is required.
