Econogear LS 80W-90 is a mineral hypoid transmission oil with limited slip additives. High quality mineral base oils and special 'Extreme Pressure' and 'Limited Slip' additives give the product the following properties:
- Outstanding resistance to oxidation
- Very high resistance to wear, corrosion and foaming
- A low pour point and high viscosity index which results in effective fluidity at low temperatures
- Excellent 'Extreme Pressure' properties
- Very good ‘Limited Slip’ properties prevent squealing and squeaking with wet clutch engagement.
Application
Econogear LS 80W-90 is a mineral hypoid 'Limited Slip' transmission oil. This product has been specially developed for use in various 'Limited Slip' and self-locking hypoid transmissions such as limited slip differentials, transfer cases and final drives where the manufacturer prescribes an API GL-5 LS oil. For heavily loaded earthmoving machines, where the manufacturer has an additional requirement of a minimum phosphorus content of 2,000 ppm, we recommend using our product Gearlube LS 80W-90.
