Kroontex SDC is a preservation fluid suitable for the long-term preservation of machines and machine components. The product consists of vaseline-type ingredients, supplemented with a mineral solvent, special water dispersant and corrosion resistant additives to achieve the following properties:
- Good water dispersant qualities: damp parts need not be dried first
- Easy to remove with a mineral solvent
- A good demulsifier: the fluid can be separated effectively from water
- Good surface coat of approx. 10 µm: is able to recover if subjected to light damage
- Good resistance to corrosion: minimum duration of protection is ± 24 months for internal storage and ± 12 months for outdoor storage without a cover
Application
Kroontex SDC is a preservative fluid for the industrial sector, suitable for the long-term preservation of machines and machine components. It can be applied by dipping or spraying, or with a soft brush. Kroontex SDC can be removed with a degreaser (mineral or alkaline) and/or a pressure washer.
