Atlantic Shipping Grease is based on highly refined base oils containing lithium soap as a thickening agent. It is supplemented with additives to achieve the following properties:
- Good adhesion to metal
- Outstanding resistance to fresh and salt water
- High mechanical stability
- Excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation
- Excellent pumpability in automatic lubrication devices
Application
Atlantic Shipping Grease has been specially developed for lubricating propeller shafts. Atlantic Shipping Grease can be universally applied in any propeller shaft tube. Furthermore, the formulation of this grease means that it is ideally suited as a universal on-board grease for sliding and ball bearings.
